There’s something universally comforting about a good sandwich – the golden crunch of toasted bread, the perfect ratio of filling to spread, that first bite that always feels like a hug. Across India, a new wave of cafés and bakeries are elevating this everyday essential into something crave-worthy. From the Pastrami excellence at Veronica’s in Mumbai to the cheesy sandos at Sando Club in Bengaluru, these are the spots that know how to make sandwiches with soul (and serious flavour).
