What began as an ode to the art of gourmet quickly grew into something far more immersive. At Phoenix Palladium, the ELLE Gourmet India X Gourmet Village event unfolded like a feast for the senses. The evening opened with lively conversations and the hum of anticipation as creators, tastemakers, and food lovers gathered under one roof. Soon, the Gourmet Village trial was underway — a curated journey through the mall’s finest restaurants, where guests wandered from one culinary stop to the next, sampling, savouring, and discovering flavours that turned dining into an experience worth remembering.

Our gracious hosts — Karishma Sakhrani, MasterChef India finalist; Roshni Bajaj, an independent food and travel writer; Vidhi Doshi, a food content creator; and Nikhil Merchant, an F&B consultant and writer — took us on a delicious journey across cultures and cuisines. From bold Pan-Asian bites like Pink Pepper Prawns, Togarashi Maki Rolls, Creamy Broccoli Planta, and more at FOO, to delicate, authentic Japanese flavours at ROBATA KUURAKU, which included Spicy Salmon Roll, Veg Kyuri Roll, Veg Karamiso Tuskune, and more. Burmese delights like WA Potatoes, Crunchy Shiitake Fingers, Pan-Fried Rice Dumplings, and more awaited at Burma Burma, while interactive DIY stations at Kitchen Garden by Suzette and Ice Cream Works by GOLD brought out the playful side of dining. Cream Centre offered comforting classics like Chana Bhatura, Nachos, Grande Enchiladas, and Chaat platters, while The Silver Train paid homage to the grandeur of India’s royal kitchens by showing palace cuisine with dishes like Makai Akhrot ke Kebab and Kandhari Murg Tikka. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better — a sweet finale awaited at Harley’s with desserts like Pistachio and Belgian Tresley Cake, assorted French Macarons, a cup of Italian Cappuccino, and more. Words hardly do it justice. This was more than food — it was flavour, creativity, and community on a plate. To really know it, you’ll have to taste it for yourself.

Food wasn’t the only star of the evening — the guest list was just as dazzling. From content creators Priya Sharma and Taneesha Mirwani to Digvijay Singh and Shreya Sanghvi, the city’s most-followed food and lifestyle voices brought their sparkle, stories, and signature style to the night. The media wall buzzed like a food carnival, with creators swapping laughs, recommendations, and insider tips. Rarely do you see so much passion for flavour under one roof — and this night captured it all.
An Evening To Remember
Call it an evening to remember: a restaurant-hopping fête that reignited our love affair with food. When tastemakers, creators, and connoisseurs gather under one roof, magic is inevitable. Last night proved it, setting a new benchmark for what an immersive culinary celebration can be.
