Pizza has long moved past being just a quick comfort meal. It’s a plan in itself, debated over group chats, bookmarked after holidays, and fiercely defended city by city. Thin crust or deep dish, wood-fired or loaded with toppings, everyone has that one place they’ll recommend without hesitation.

For this #ReadersRecommend edition, ELLE Gourmet asked its Instagram community a simple question: Which pizza spot does it best in your city? What followed was a flood of passionate responses, from local gems and old-school favourites to buzzy new openings and pizzerias that have quietly perfected their craft.

This International Pizza Day, we took cues from our readers and put together a city-wise list of pizza spots across India that continue to stand out, the ones people return to, recommend, and reorder without a second thought.
